Hey all,
It been a while since i have posted, I need the help of all Drive by Wire owners. I would like to know if the aftermarket has come out with a bracket that mounts a factory GM drive by wire pedal (06 GTO Pedal) in the first gen F-bodys. If I could buy a pre made mounting bracket, it makes far more sense. I dont want to burn up time fabing one up. I Just thought I would ask the folks of lateral-g or we shall say Firstgen-g.net :P

Just did this - nothing perfect yet. Roger has a bracket that may help and John Parson's also has mounting bosses that I think may work as well.
When I bought a new corvette DBW pedal it came mounted to a metal backing plate that was easily adapted to the firewall. The top left hole actually lined up with the steering column hole and I just welded on a couple of legs soo i could remove it if needed.

The Ironworks seems like it mounts very high up. Also looking for something but for a 2nd gen.

The bracket is designed a solid base line. Guy cut it to adjust height and pedal height is variable from person to person. The bracket is designed to be trimmed but fits in almost any GM model. Never had any body complain or return one. Sold a bunch of them over the years.

This is the one I have. It is for a C6 pedal, not sure how they compare to a GTO but it may work for you.
