It was a private event, part the KTM dealer meeting. Met John Penton, Jack Penton, Scot Harden, etc. and spent some time discussing the bikes walking the museum with Malcom Smith. On Any Sunday was playing downstairs and Malcom was watching 5 feet way.........surreal moment in my life.
I was really interested in bikes when I was 10 (1968) so I have fond memories of most the bikes featured in the museum.........being an avid Dirt Bike mag and Super Hunky fan. Rick also MC'd the dinner that night.
Note: Malcom is one of the nicest humblest people I have ever met.

Thanks Seig That rocked!! I met Malcom once, yes he is a real nice guy. As a lil kid I grew up riding/racing Indian dunes and Valley cycle park aka Muntz. My friends mom was the first lady to finish the Baja (or something like that) so she was known. One year Jimmy Ellis and Jim Pomeroy stayed at their house while they were racing the first "Super Bowl of MX" at the LA Coliseum and we got to hang out with them.
That was heaven to be 11 or so yrs old and meet and hang with some of your heros.. Got out of MX when i turned 16 and got heavely 'intocarss" Then in 1982 bought a 1976 CR 125 Elsinore and an XR75 and just road for fun then in 1985 I bought a CR 250 and raced grand prix for a year or two,, My body gave out so I sold it and went Drag racing
