I am an owner of an olive oil company. (www.olevano.com) so I need help and going to offer a contest. I have this thing about wanting to name my car.
Between now and June 30th I want to come up with that name. My current favorites are "My Blue Heaven" (which I think has been used before) and "WindRunner". If anyone has a suggestion that end up choosing, I will send them a selection of my products free of charge.

My concept was to build a 1970 442 convertible to respect the heritage of the original exterior but put some modern guts as if it were being built today.

What do you think?

Very nice car!

My wife loves olive oil...so here I go

Since it sounds like you want 'blue' in there
Blue By You
Old(s) Blue
Blue Sky
Blue Chip

442 sounds sorta like Fortitude so if you want to get punny...
FourFourtit2de
Fortitude
etc...

Blue Chip and Fortitude being added to the list....I really like Fortitude as my Dad received the Distinguished Flying Cross in WWII and the citation reads for "Courage and Fortitude"

When I heard the word oil I was reminded of the Oilers since they also use the colors blue and white. The oilers then reminded me of "Roughneck" Yeah I like "Roughneck" better since you are an oil man.

I'm terrible with names so I can't offer any suggestions. I just wanted to say the car looks fantastic! Love that blue.

Wouldn't she be the 4421st century Olds.

Beautiful car.

My buddy in high school had a bone stock 68 442 complete with whitewalls. Can't even begin to count how many people he embarrassed stoplight to stoplight in that car.

sik68 is in the lead. Fortitude is striking the right notes with all of the challenges in building this car.

Think about these:

Blue By You (In any arrangement)

Extra Extra Virgin Blue (Since you started with a stock car, and have the olive oil)

"Olds Blue"

"Into the Blue"

"Blue Booby" (After the Bird of course "Blue Footed Booby", plus everyone loves Boobies)

Instead of "Great Balls of Fire", call it, "Blue Balls of Fire!";)

"Blue Wave"

"Blue Ice"

"Blue Moon"

"Blue Flame";)

Please add me to your contest.

Regards,

Ty O'Neal

Fortitude reminds me of a Ford Build I saw a while Back (Forditude) It is clever though.
