In most places that I know of, this car would be illegal for street use since it doesn't have the cowl tag on it. But, maybe I'm wrong on that.

I wonder how this was performed. "The front suspension has been narrowed 1” to fit the 17x9.5 front wheels."
Should put some more engine in it, .

Nice car, I agree the engines needs a bit more. Looks to be a stock LT1. I do like the strut tower bar, and the gauges.

Do I understand the rear suspension correctly - are there only 2 lower trailing arms, solidly mounted to the rear axle?
I wonder what the rear sway bar adds when you have infinite roll stiffness in the rest of the rear end locating members?

not sure if you are aware but a cowl tag is not the vin tag . a cowl tag has no bearing on legaltiy. the vin does, you know the one at the windshield? a cowl tag does not have a complete vin on it !!!
we will have a custom cowl tag on FUEL

According to the RPM calculators (http://www.classicchevy5speed.com/RPM_calculator.swf), the car should be turning 2300RPM at 70MPH, not 2100.
Where do you get 315/40/17 tires? Does anyone know?

Good ?
I see Michelin makes a 335/35/17 so does Pirelli
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 makes a 315/35/17 25.8 tall 12.4 section width
