This is a project I have been trying to get to for the last couple years. Finished it in one weekend.

the carpeting

the adhesive (same stuff I used in the door panels too)

the panels are made from 1/8" ABS plastic

Started with a very clean stock trunk, so the only prep work was cutting out the stock jack attachments

Then I made some templates for the front, back and side panels

Then I cut and fit and trimmed the ABS panels

Then I added cut pile carpet that is made with no backing on it. It made it super easy to conform to all of the contours. It was glued right to the trunk floor.

Yup, headers are back in, and the car is back on the ground!!

Awesome job! How did you fasten the ABS in place?

the tight fit of the panels combined with the fact that the first 3 panels hold each other in......the last panel is held in by Velcro :unibrow:
