I have a Wayne Due subframe in a 67 Firebird, with an LS3 & T56 magnum trans. What X-member will fit best? The frame rails are 31" wide, similar to the Heidts, but the X-member mounting flanges are welded higher on the frame rails than the Heidts. I may mount the Heidts x-member to the underside of the flanges with spacers but I was wondering if anyone knew of a direct fit solution.

I used a BMR X member for a 4L60 with my T56 in a Wayne Due. I had to trim the length slightly on each end. It had what looked like the right shape I needed to make it work. I couldnt find any info on a direct fit. To get the driveline angle acceptable, I had to mount it on top of the ledge & still used some spacers to raise the tail of the trans as high as possible. It sits at -3 right now. Scott

Thanks for the info. I should be putting it in in a few weeks after getting the engine back from the Dyno. I'll see if I can make the Heidts work. If not, I'll try the BMR.

What wheel size and offset did you end up with zo6vette? Do you also have the Wayne Due C5 IRS? Curious what you ended up with for front and rr wheels.
Thanks

Front are 17x8.5 w/245-45-17 and rears are 17x12 6" back space w/335/35/17. I can't recall the backspace on the fronts. I have the G-Bar 4 link in the rear with QA1 coilovers front & rear.
