Hi all,

We just released our new LSx oil pan. Anyone looking to install an LS series
engine in a first gen Camaro/Firebird/Nova or Chevelle this pan bolts right up.
It comes with a Billet Aluminum oil filter adapter and custom pickup.

This pan is a quality piece and does not require any frame mods and clears the factory steering linkage.

It is a road race style pan with kickouts featuring a 4-way trap door design so there is no worries of oil pressure loss during hard acceleration, braking or cornering.

Also, coming soon is our custom Billet aluminum adapter plates for LSx swaps into F-body & A-bodies.

More details coming soon!

Check out our site for details at www.autokraft.org

The parts look really nice Kurt, good luck with the sales of them.

Any plans for a longtube header that works with your motor plates?

Edit: have you posted this over at www.LS1tech.com ?

Nice pan guys! How is the depth compared to a stock F-body pan?

Thanks for the compliments guys,

Ryan,

The Hooker long tubes work with our plates.

Payton,

The depth of the pan is the same as the stock pan.

Thanks, Kurt

I already have the S&P plates installed. Is there any way you know if the Hookers will clear with my plates? I think the Hookers (and yours) set the engine forward from S&P??

Ryan, Thats a good question. I have never used anyone elses plates (S&P) so I don't really know where they position their setup. We always machined our own. Our plates set the engine back near the firewall and the Hooker long tubes work perfectly. I know Hooker makes mounts to use in conjunction with their headers but I don't know what they look like and we (at the time) had already had our plates machined so I just decided to try it and it fit perfect.

Here's a pic of them close up.

Sorry to bother you with this Kurt, I'm just trying to figure if the hookers work with my plates, then I'm going to order a set before I get my exhaust system ceramic coated.

Ryan,

I,m not sure what to tell you. You are dealing with two factors. The position of the engine is also determined with the type of mounts you are using with the plates. The different types can change how high or low the engine sits and how it sits in relation to the firewall. We wanted to position the motor as far back and low as possible. What do you have on there for headers now?

What you could do is order the Hooker long tubes, trial fit them and if they fit then get em sent off for coating. I know this is probably the very thing you are trying to avoid but maybe the only sure way to find out.

I would prefer to not cut up the trans tunnel, so will these mounts put the T-56 trans in a place where I would not have to cut trans tunnel? thanks

The Hooker mounts looks pretty much as GM measure it in their LS1 Installation guide. Here is a drawing from that book:

Thanks Kurt for the compliment. Did you get our pan for Project G-Rex yet?
