Seriously, I'm ready to buy now with the following:

Automatic(Daily driver and she will drive it)

Prefer Jet Stream Blue, Red, White, or Black. (In that order)
Less than 40,000 miles.

Thanks guys......

Todd,

I'm sure you know this already but 2008 was the first year of the LS3 in the vette which seems to command a pretty good premium over the 2007 year.

I imagine you are already familiar with it, but if not, the Corvette Forum always had a steady stream of lightly used cars for sale. Definitely take a look in their C6 For Sale forum, especially if you are willing to travel for the right car.

Good luck!

Sure check corvetteforum but typically owners of cars selling them on the forums they are a part of want that premium... ya know, because they think their car is special. :unibrow:

And with a million Vettes out there I'd find one on craigslist or autotrader or something that looked well taken care of by a good owner.

The C6's start in 2005 in case you're looking for the least expensive model year. If you're looking for a coupe, maybe she'll like the glass roof? It's pretty cool.

Vegas69
03-29-2012, 05:11 PM
Yep, I found a 2005 that is owned by an older guy with 11,500 miles and every option available. One of those weekend only deals. Problem is, 2005 was the only year with a 4 speed auto. In 2006 they went to the 6 speed. It's also silver and we have a silver Tundra. Sorry, Kelli has a silver Tundra.:D

Since you're looking at an automatic Corvette "for Kelli," can I interest you in an automatic Mustang. I'll throw in a Mustang hat, Mustang jacket, Hawaiian shirt, lawn chain, and a few cigars.

Matt

I wouldn't even let Kelli drive a Mustang. :unibrow:

Those glass roofs bake you in the sun. Not good for Vegas heat.

See if this guy will throw in the Ducati to make up for the salvage title

Spent all day on the road but it was worth it. The car is pretty much showroom new. He had it professionally detailed all the time. It has damn near brand new tires on it as well. I tell you what, this car is night and day better than my old C5. More power, tighter, more comfortable, and we averaged 28 miles per gallon. It's got the stock suspension minus the Z51 so it rides better than my S4 did by quite a margin. I handed the reigns over to Kelli half way home and it didn't take her long to start stretching the distance on me.

AJ is right, it will stay pretty close to bone stock. I want that cushy ride and factory reliability. I do plan to install a Kenwood Navigation/Bluetooth set up as the car doesn't have either.

Yep, we already are Mario. Kelli and a friend went out for a cruise yesterday and she's out driving it today as well. I might not get to drive it as much as I hoped. :D

I'm putting in a Kenwood NAV/Bluetooth unit on Friday. (having it done)
