And slapping the gate exiting the block :D
Here's one of the first I saw:

I've always wondered my potential using someone else's equipment and budget. :unibrow:

Guys guys, I dont meen to be a mean and picking a fight but as you watch the clip notised that there are at least three sets of marks on the road already. Practice, practice and more practice.
And if you look close and hard you realize that it has been made in editing board.
Sure, very entertaining but as real as Hollywood movie.
As I come from the land of rallying, Finland. We dont rise Mr Block too high.
Those of you who follow the WRC, you know why.
And I might add that I have driven a 4wd rally car and its not easy at anyway.
Sure hi can drive, a lot better than me but hes no god...
We are looking forward this summer when he comes to race in Neste rally Finland, the fastest rally in the world.
Here is something that has been made with first shot:
Tanner Foust in Malibu...

No way do I want anybody to be a offended by this.
Just one opinion from Europe..

Juhani,
No issues here! I'm also a WRC fan and Block is certainly not up to the level of Makinen or Loeb, but Block does make for good video entertainment.
The rear wing on Tanner's car doesn't appear to be very effective. :D

Sieg: Looks like that Tanners rearspoiler is turned up flat so it does not give any down push. smart:thumbsup:
GregWeld: I know, I have watch them also but not countless...:willy:
So here we have one more: Block parody (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXGdCyZAdek)
I'm saying that film like Mr Block even I could produce if I had that Swedish race teem prep unrestricted turbo WRC Fiesta, lot of tyres and spare parts,+20 cameras, lot of time on my hand, and top notch editing staff.
Again his films are entertaining but thay are so badly put together that you see that they are just that...
How is God to someone, may be a joker to others..
On that Tanner drive its not been practiced first, just that he drives it the once and shot'ed at the same time, no second takes.
As I wrote before, in here we look driving from another perspective,
driving between plastic cones in a flat parking lot is not fun,
not for long anyway.
In here there is rallisprint events every weekend almost around year and drive high end cars in many classes (rare cars also) in between hills, hay rolls, deep ditches, trees, lightposts and buildings. On tarmac, gravel, snow and ice. and in the mix of them.. You never know.
You can stuby the course but not with your car, by walking or bicycle.
Like this: Futura rallisprint (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQxRiqfVjfA)
How many of you would be willing to try?
Just want to point a different point of view... Thats all...

The dude has unlimited budget, I mean, owning one of the biggest clothing companys in the X-Games world should bring some money, I think he already released the Gymkhana 4 video already, and it's really cool too.
Anyway, he's more entretaining than skilled, I've seen the Gymkhana comps in the X-Games, and he's not eve one of the best ones, the competition is hard, and it requires skills like his ones, but he could be better, so, yes, he's more of an entretainer. I really like his videos though.
