I really like Bob owens 69 camaro (it's on PHR) and Chris kerr's 68, Big red. So I've been looking at alot of pictures and trying to find info on the cars. It seems when they talk about the front suspension's they don't really say much. I'm wondering if anyone could help me out? also if there is any good books or programs to build something like this for road racing :)

The type of suspension is called an SLA Suspension. This stands for Short/Long Arm. This refers to the Upper and lower control arms. The upper is usually shorter then the lower and this is done to control Camber gain during articulation. Owens suspension was scratch built by the shop that built the car. Like you said there is no info on the pieces/parts but most of this stuff is available from circle track or specialty shops if you don't want to built it yourself.
I gave you a good design program here... http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=163
You won't find anything much better.
Do a search on the web under "suspension design books" there are quite a few out there.
