That is awesome to see them give the kid a chance like that...and looked what happened ? In a good way it reminds me of the movie "The Waterboy" with Adam Sandler. You never know where the talent is until you give it a try.

Greece Athena is roughly 30 min North of me(suburb of Rochester NY). This was a big story for the past week on the local news (and world news).They are in the sectionals starting this weekend and seeded #1/Class AA.The coach said on the news that he would like him to see alittle playing time if possible. Great story. :thumbsup:

That is a great story.
I have coached youth basketball for several years and it is stories like this
that bring a tear to my eye.

Thats incredible. I saw another story just like it on RealSports on HBO where the team manager who also had some disability was put in at the last game and scored. It may seem small to some people, but to those kids that will never be forgotten.
