I watched the video tonight per one of my son's requests and we had a little discussion about it. My main big question........this movement has been going on for many years, why are we just hearing about this now?

I dunno how long its been going on.

I just learned about it myself..

and to be honest my reasons to post up the vid on sites i frequent is simple.

It hurt me pretty bad to see Jacob cry for his brother that was killed..

to me thats simple enough to post it up.. and i wish i was stronger as a person to do things like this so the best i can do is let folks know...

..and walk around with a can in my hand.

While his actions are deplorable much like several other dictators around the world, people are going crazy over a topic they cared little about until someone made a tug at your heart strings video. What is even more insulting is that people just started running with despite the fact that Kony was forced out of Uganda about 6 years ago and is hiding and probably about to kick the bucket, but they did no research and now they have taken up "The Cause" when yesterday they could have given two sh*ts about that part of the world.

What is even worse from what I've looked up is that the people behind this charity are shady and is not someone anyone should donate funds too.

If you decide to donate some money to a cause to help people in that part of the world, give some to the red cross, amnesty international, etc.. Don't get pulled in by this video and get suckered out of your cash or time by a shady group.

Don't fall for the scam. Don't ever take up a "cause" without doing a little research first.
