The internet does. Just type in your address and up comes everyone's name and address.

Kinda scary if you think about it. No more privacy...

Take it one step further and you could run background checks on anyone you think is shady.

I just make sure I live in a neighborhood that isn't scary... One way to solve it I guess. :D

If you're worried about your neighbors it might be time to raise your game.

Pretty crazy stuff! I look at the megan's law website once a year and have then cross referenced the names with that link to confirm who was in my neighborhood. Now I really know who to keep an eye. The freaky thing is, one of the convicted child molestors walks a 3 legged dog around the neighborhood. My little girls know who not to talk to and who's dog not to pet. Scary stuff!

On a lighter note, I now know the names of all those neighbors that I only briefly talked to.

I'm not personally concerned about it, but those that need to maintain some level of security (high profile/net worth individuals, former victims of violent crime) now have their name and home phone number out there. Theoretically bad guys could use the second link, find your address and now they have your home phone number.

Of course buddy. I went to an Electronics Association meeting once and they had a former FBI guy lecture the CEOs about ways to protect their families home and abroad. Pretty interesting stuff...

Yikes and gadzooks! wow, that is a lot of free/ easy to get info.

conversely, I just met my neighbors. I've lived here for over two years and still don't really know anyone on my street. (they all stay indoors. maybe that's because I make a lot of ruckus working on my car...)
