Is there anyone else out there waiting for a refund from prodigy customs and just outright being ignored or getting " the checks in the mail ".

If so contact me im filing small claims in the next few days and maybe we can turn it into a class action suit at this point.

I saw a thread on Camaros.net with quite a few people trying to get in contact Prodigy. If you can't get any communication, no word on parts delivery or refund option, I don't see where there's any other choice but to pursue legal action.

This sucks for all involved. Given that he is no longer a sponsor on here, there is not much the mods can do. After reading the post on camaros, there looks to be a lot of guys in the same situation. Everyone of you guys needs to start their own thread on PT and force the situation. If there are new threads started everyday on the "other" site, they will have to do something to address the issues, other than burying it in the marketplace feed back section.

Sadly the more the word gets out -- the more 'damage' it does - as these businesses, when they get to this point - need new sales to pay for the oldest squeakiest wheels. It becomes nothing more than a ponzi scheme.

I love Frank - he's super knowledgeable and helpful and on and on... but business is business and somehow he's managed to screw his into the ground.

Poor business management, plenty of money and time to run to car shows though. I suggested to a vendor today they shut his account off until he cleans up his act. Ill be filing small claims soon enough. I've waited long enough for $1300.

So taking money for parts and never ordering parts is "meaning no harm"???

I ordered something from Speed Tech through him and 4 months later when I never received my parts I called Blake directly and he told me Frank never ordered the parts.

It took 4 months to get my vintage air that was supposedly "in stock"

Then it took him a year to refund my money and he only did it because I was constantly posting on pro-touring about how he scams people.

Thankfully we received all of the items we ever purchased from them. We made 4 large purchases from them in 2010. Each delivery seemed to progressively take longer than what he quoted at time of ordering. (weeks turned into months) I started seeing all of the disgruntled threads pop up after we received our last order. It turns my stomach to think about this crap. At least we got our stuff. Just lucky I guess... Best of luck to those that have to fight it out! :(

Just read the posts on team camaro.... And as previously happened Frank jumps in a "takes care of the problems".....

Nice personable guy..... But all good scam artists are.... Everybody loved Bernie Madoff and he made some people rich.... But he screwed over 100x more people.....

Patterns don't lie.... This pattern has repeated itself over and over now..... It's not a fluke or "bad things happen to good people" or "stuff happens and no company is perfect".....

I've ordered stuff from him and it went "ok".... Not quick but not unreasonably long. But I won't order from him again....

Best we can hope for is that the people with current issues get resolution and all his future business dries up because of word of mouth

Steve, there is still a $400 issue on the polishing. Yes we should have already done the refund. In the meantime it puts us out over $600 on the deal as our refund did not include the polishing. I forwarded you my credit from Stainless Works. Our cost is over $1100, we got $623.55.

Were going to cover it but have a battle with the supplier.

That is dead wrong, you lost it. We provided delivery confirmation in October.

I know I spent 8gs in december with him in 1 meeting and I have only received a radiator from that money. He isnt worth a damn if you ask me, he doesnt answer emails, phone calls, etc. So Right now he owes me parts or 7,000+ back in money. He is holding up my project now and legal action will be pursued pretty quick if I dont get answers soon for my stuff.

have you called the manufacturers of the parts you ordered to see if they have your order, and what the hold up is?

would you like to see a copy of the email from you saying you would issue me a full refund and eat the cost of the polishing? and you were issued credit from them in september. SEPTEMBER!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND JUST SHUT UP AND WRITE ME A CHECK. Thanks for sending me the credit invoice , stainless works wouldnt give it to me on the phone today. Only helps build my case. You do know what happens when you dont show up for court right? Ive been nothing but patient until today. You can overnight a check and we can settle this. A bank check too. You seem to have plenty of time to run to car shows , you can run to the bank and the post office too. Or you can get served a court apperance. Your choice. Dont think i wont fly to florida, ive never been to universal orlando, it will be like a vacation for me. One way or another i will get a full refund and dont make me tack on the cost of taking you to court for it too.

For all of you who are waiting for your money back we can file a class action suit instead and really put a stop to his fraud.

I contacted pro wheels and told them where my order was placed from, who it was and what the hold up was yes and they told me that order was placed but payment was not made to them for the wheels when I had paid for all of my parts right up front.

ssenay72, I'm going to lock this thread since you and Frank are communicating. If he doesn't take care of it let Scott or I know via pm and we can add info to the thread.
