Hi,

I am contemplating selling my 2000 Firebird TA convertible, or parting her out and keeping the powertrain for my first gen. Too many projects going on, so am considering selling the car complete. Registration current and paid until May 2012. Starts right up and runs extremely strong.

The good:

She has 122K miles, all stock and runs excellent. Auto, AC blows cold, convertible top in great shape and power works without issues (rear glass window glue is coming out so needs to be re-glued). The car is all stock as far as I know, interior in excellent shape, very clean, black leather, no cracks on panels, doors, etc. Power headlights work, honeycomb tail lights, 16” wheels, tires have low thread but driveable.

The bad:

The only issue is the car has a salvage title. The rear bumper area and fender was repaired by the previous owner. Decent job, I looked through tub, subframe area, no apparent impact or issues.

I am looking for $6300 for the car, what I believe is fair, not many verts out there, plus this would be the price for a V6 vert, so am taking into consideration the tires and salvage title. If I were to part the car and kep the powertrain I had offers for parts on other forums of about $4K on items without trying hard or listing all the items, trim etc.

Any questions, feel free to touch base, thanks!

Gui

Hey, you actually answered my 67 question....was curious if you still had it..looks like it's off to Tex. C'est la Vie.

Happen to know of anyone else with a solid 67 conv that I could make in to an LS-powered car?
