Does anyone use the calvert racing 9 way adjustable shock? I have a 68 Camaro with the DSE 3 inch lowering deep tub kit minus the shocks. DSE’s deep tub shock has a compressed length of 13 inches and an extended length of 20 inches. Calvert racing sells a shock(CR22131) with a compressed length of 13.25 inches and an extended length of 20.63 inches. Both are very well made shock but the calvert racing shock is allot more adjustable plus its $50 cheaper. Not to mention alot easier to adjust by reaching behind the tire and turning a knob rather than unbolting them. My car is going to be used for a little bit of everything, mostly street, occasional auto cross or drag racing on the weekends. Any oppositions of running the calvert shock instead of the DSE shock?

9-way as in 9 clicks of compression dampening, no high-speed compression and no rebound dampening?

I'm getting ready to put the on my Camaro. I'll let you knwo how it goes.

FWIW, I had the DSE supplied Konis on my minitubbed Nova and hated them. Pain in the butt to adjust and they just never rode right. Won't do that again.

nopants68, I’ve heard from a coupe people. I like the fact that you don’t have to dismount them if you want to change the settings, just turn a knob and your done. plus my car is more street than anything so as long as they perform and I can hook at the strip they should be fine. When do you plan on putting these on???? I’m dying to hear what you think of them.
And sieg, I’m not looking to compete, just an all around good shock. Something that I can use to have fun on the weekends but ride decent on the street.

I'll probably have them on in a couple weeks. Car is all apart right now. I'll let you know if I get it done sooner.

A LOT of S10 guys who drag race run them. I know they can get pretty stiff, but don't have any experience yet, mine are in the box still.
