Some old timer told me that prior to install, treating a new cast aluminum manifold with several applications of Rainex would supposedly keep it from getting oil/fuel stained.
I don't want to polish it. Looking for low maintenance.
what do you guys think, or use / recommend?
thanks in advance!

Never heard of that. Some people powder coat them with clear

X2 for the clear powder coat. Oil and fuel wipe right off.

Another vote for powercoated with clear. Only thing i noticed was it loses the actual brightness of the new aluminum and gives it a tinge of gray after coating.
