I need help with brake line diagrams for bear portioning valve. its a 69 camaro

If I remove old disc drum portioning valve, what do I do for the light?

I'm new to doing this. Sorry for the stupid?

Pictures would help lots

Thanks Kirk

The sensor in the middle of the disc/drum or drum/drum distribution blocks (and/or combination valves) is for the brake warning light on the dash and will actuate when there is a pressure imbalance between the front and rear systems. I personally have never experienced a brake failure where the light told me something I didn't already know since you have to apply to brakes and have an issue before the light comes on, so I don't typically worry about it. That said, if you want to maintain that particular dummy light, you could swap to a drum/drum distribution block with brake balance switch since there is no proportioning or metering functionality in the drum/drum blocks.

As for diagrams, you shouldn't need one. You have one line that tees to the front brakes and one line that ultimately tees to the rear brakes, typically at the axle end of the rear center hose.
