hello all. new guy here with a 69 charger that i want to turn into a turning machine! got the car not too long ago and have it stripped right down to start work on it. front frame rail are rusted inside so the first step is to build new ones. i was thinking of going to a double a-arm style but the cost for the kits is too much for me so ill stick with what is stock but reinforce it a little.
what i want from the car is a little wider rims and tires and a lowered stance with way better handling and brakes. like i said im new here so any suggestions would be welcomed, especially those who have done a charger already

thanks
clarence

Start saving!! I wish I could afford one! :D I bet they could be modded to fit B Mopars and Viper parts.

Welcome to the board. Check out Devin Meucci's Charger on the Member's page. He's knee deep in a Charger build and can offer lots of advice from all the things he's learned in all his research over the past 9 months as well as possibly help with some of his parts that are left over to replace anything you might be in need of. His car looks radical and big budget but he's a regular guy and in his exhaustive research and careful planning, he's learned lots of different ways to make a Mopar turn even if you can't replace the torsion bars.
Good luck!

Nice ride man - let me know if I can help in anyway - I have a pro-tour'ed 68' that is a never ending project... cheers and good luck.
