I contacted Edelbrock last March to see if they have ever considered selling a supercharged LS crate engine using their 2.3 TVS supercharger and almost one year later it has happened. I still haven't seen the official price, but I was told it will be coming soon.
I did all this because I really want this type of engine for my 69 Camaro build but I don't have a $25-30k budget just for the engine and I was hoping/assuming they would have better margins to build an engine like this.
I am hoping for under $20k for Option 4, turn key setup (NOTE: I am just throwing a number out there that I am hoping for, not a number I got from Edelbrock).

From what I've seen of their line up - their motors are HIGHLY OVERPRICED....
Just buy a Crate LSX 376 == and a TVS 2300 and you'll have less money in it than 20 grand!
I know -- I own one.
Touch base with Rodger at Ironworks and get a quote for what you're looking for.

GrnDragon, for that price above, you're still gonna be $20-$25 into it when you throw in the accessory drive, accessories (water pump, alt, p/s pump), throttle body, computer and harness, pedals, etc. You'd be better off buying a shortblock from a reputable builder, getting some heads off ebay, this forum etc and putting a motor together for far less money. Just my &.02. I figured I'd throw this out there. I have brand new LS2 shortblocks for $2000. A great starting point for a supercharger. You can use the stock internals for low boost.

They definitely over priced it by about $5k, once I saw the asking price I lost interest. They missed a great opportunity to sell a ton of engines.
