For anyone that is in the Central Indiana area. On Tuesday nights I have decided to open my shop to let people come in and work on small projects or learn a skill they do not have.

Charge is $25 + materials From 6-10pm.

No drinking
What every you bring with you project wise, goes home with you that night.

We have been doing this for about a month and had some good interest.

Here are some pics, a young girl with a '54 Kaiser needed a new gas tank, and learn how to weld.

Very cool idea. It'd be nice if all shops were open to this idea.

Thats awesome! I wish i had a show close to me that would do that! Sometimes we just dont have the right tools like big benders and bead rollers and such.

I wish Indiana had more people like you guys... Everyone talks about it and one girl shows up every week...

If I was in a different location, I would do something like this. I think it is a great idea to get people in the door.

Great idea, but be careful. I have heard of shops doing this and then someone turns around and sues them when they get hurt

If I lived closer I would be there every damn Tuesday!

I hope you started something that other shops pick up on. Good for you.

We have been back in full swing since the beginning of the year. Erin finished her tank and drove with it all last spring and summer.

This was Matt's first time TIG welding and practicing finishing.

If anybody is in the area, spend the money and go. Thom has the knowledge, equipment, and experience to impart at least 25 bucks worth of education in a few hours. Plus he's a good guy and can breathe fire.
