You'd say that until you have to go somewhere!

It's dropped to below 30* now -- and all that "slush" is turning to ICE.... Pretty yeah -- Pretty treacherous!

Oh - this will kill ya! iPhone 4S

I really just went out to get the mail I forgot to get yesterday --- and looked back across the street and it seemed so "wintery" I thought I'd snap a couple photos...

To take Steve Rupps best line ever when asked "what's the best camera?" to which he said -- "the one you have with you!".

+1 Good work with the camera.

If that's with an iPhone I'll be forced to buy AAPL. :willy:

Do you have snow in Eugene??

It snowed pretty hard here today off and on --- and now, of course, the temp is dropping and those pretty trees will be loaded with ice.... and it's supposed to snow some more for the next couple days with warming (melting) and freezing at night so I hope it doesn't break the poor things!

Snowing off and on all day, nothing sticking in my neighborhood. It's spotty, there's a couple inches on the ground 15 miles South in Creswell.

Have the pool boy suit up and give those tree's a good shake, that's the best insurance.

OMG! We're really not that cold -- but it is winter....

I love the snow -- it always gets real quiet and peaceful when it's snowing. I'm lucky that I don't have to go anywhere in it... but around here the town locks up with 3" worth! Luckily - it doesn't last very long before the rain is back.

The mere MENTION of snow freezes 99% of the brains around the NorthWET...

"I can go anywhere because... I have front wheel drive"....

"I can go fast because I have all wheel drive"....

"I'll just park my car in the middle of this intersection - and walk away - because my all wheel drive has bald tires and I'm stuck"....

"I'll just leave my car on the freeway and walk away... because I'm an... idiot"...

"I'll drive DOWN this 7% grade street even though it's a sheet of ice... because.... I'm sitting on my brains"....

I cannot stand snow/cold. I think we are getting a coating of snow for tomorrow morning. Oh goodie! lol That should make for some fun driving at 5:45 in the A.M. Can't wait.
Thank God for 4 wheel drive. Still need to take it easy though and look-out for the others that are "sitting on their brains".:D

I used to ski 100+ days a year... and it always blew me away that every "car" backward and in the ditch ---- you guessed it --- 4 wheel drive...

People just don't get that they get you going -- they DO NOT keep you on the road -- and they are NOT on rails.... Ya still have to be able to STOP and turn...

Does it really count as 4 pages if the OP posted 3 of them himself? Just saying'....

We're supposed to get one more day of white stuff and then back to the norm - liquid sunshine. I'd really rather just keep the snow coming.

Yeah Tones --- but that's "north" of me thank gawd.... we might see 4" or so here in town (Bellevue/Seattle). When the weather turns cold - all that rain we usually get comes down white!

I forget the rain/snow ratio - but think 1/4" of rain turns into 1" of snow... or something like that - so it's really not all that much rain. Our snow is heavy and wet -- not nice dry fluffy powder like Utah and Colorado... There they say 1" of rain is 15" of snow.

I've got to text SW and "order up" some sun for the event! I'm going to shoot myself (or maybe my wife will shoot me) if we don't get some "decent" weather...

Of course - we're making a road trip out of it - and visiting friends in Austin -- going for some of that famous BBQ... and then head home via Santa Fe... and Phoenix. Keeping my fingers crossed!
