1967 Camaro – Solid Project Car

For Sale is a 1967 Camaro with NO motor or transmission. This car is about 98% rust free. There are a couple of places on the interior floor pans and on the interior of the doors that have surface rust only. You might be able to see them in the pictures. There is also an area of rust located near the lowest connection point for the front fender to the firewall. The steel in that area needs to be replaced. As far as I can tell there is no other rust on the car and by the pictures you can tell that I’ve been through the car thoroughly. The body parts that have been replaced with new parts are as follows:

Both Front Fenders
Lower Front Valence Panel (not shown in pictures – primed)
Front Header Panel
Hood (1-1/2" Cowl Induction Hood)
Radiator Support
Cowl Panel
Dashboard Panel
Both Rear Quarter Panels (full quarter)
Front Inner Finder Skirts (not shown in pictures – painted black)
Door Hinges
Trunk Pan
Panel Between Trunk and Back Glass
Rear Wheel Wells (Mini-tubbed to fit 335 tire)
Both Side Mirrors
Rear Spoiler

When possible I purchased GM body parts instead of aftermarket brands. Everything has been primed. The floor pans, dashboard, Firewall, and Frame have been sandblasted primed and painted black. The underbody of the car has been cleaned and undercoated.

All bushings have been replaced with PST bushings. The suspension has been replaced with a Hotchkis Springs front and back. The Hotchkis System will drop the car 2".

The rear end is a 12 Bolt and I’m not sure which gear it has or if it’s a locking differential.

The car has disk brakes up front and drums in the rear.

I have the following items, however they are original parts and have not been replaced:

All glass except for windshield
All window regulators
Head lights and rear lights
Door and trunk locks
Interior and exterior door handles
Instrument Cluster
Glove box door
Grill
Front and Rear Bumpers
Bumper Brackets
Drive Shaft
Front Seats (upholstered, however not original)
Rear Seat (vertical section not upholstered)
Dash Pad
Door Sill Plates
Gas Tank
Heater Core Housing

To give you an idea of the condition of the original parts that have been listed, I can only say that they look like 39-year-old car parts. If I were to finish the car I would replace as many of the parts as possible. I wouldn’t put that much work into a car just to put some old worn-out pieces back on it.

I have done extensive work to the body and with exception to the areas I mentioned earlier there is no rust. As for the body the hard work has been done, now it needs somebody who can do the finish body work and paint.

This car has never had an AC and originally had a six cylinder with a manual transmission. I’m asking $6,000 for the car and the only items included in that price are the items listed above and shown in the pictures. Feel free to ask any questions you might have. This car is located in Houston, TX and the buyer will have to pick it up.

Why is it when things like this come up I am never in a position to act on em? Oh well. Looks like a good buy for somebody.
