It looks like it will fit with stock firewall.Rad & fans are going to be tight but looks likes it will work.Tomorrow ill cut out the trans tunnel for the 6 speed and cut up the k frame to fit the oil pan.(It sits on the frame)The only other thing that looks tight is the power steering

this might be stupid , but why wouldnt you fit everything, cut weld , mock up then paint . why did you paint all that already ?
why not use some trick front suspernsion also . get rid of those torsion bars!

At first we were doing a stock looking hemi car.
Then the customer wanted 18in wheels so we order wheels and brakes.
Then I wanted the viper motor & 6speed. So we found a motor on friday picked it up saturday, put it in sunday, cut on monday
Your right were going backwards right now.(but way cooler)
If I knew we were going this way I would have done all this mock up before any paint.
In my frist post I asked about suspension? Not sure what is out there for the challenger. Haven't used any body for mopar yet.

get in touch with mean69, lateral dynamics, i know they just went to texas and put a kit in a mopar, they are making a killer 3 link, howver they may not be in production of the kit yet, give them a try.

Fit the motor today.Cut out 90% of the k member to get the motor to sit at the right height. the viper motor mounts sit right over the 440 holes :D and just clears the power steering pump. The center link hits the oil pan. Ill pull the pan to see if there's room to notch.

Name for the car: Hemotox :unibrow:
Are you guys going to leave the motor stock or build it up? TT even :D Depending on the year of car it came from you can easily make 750hp on pump gas. It's not terribly hard to bump that number up to 1100+
Is it a forged motor or creampuff? If it came from a 97-99 it has forged pistons stock and little bigger cam. The 00-02 are cast.
I've been doing a lot of work with TT vipers lately, they are absolute monsters. A friend of mine just cliped off an 8.75 @ 161 in a full street car, just swaped on a set of slicks.

Its the forged motor.Bought a 98 for that reason.Easy upgrades.I can't wait to drive this car!!!
Waiting for parts sucks.

On Barett Jackson, a '71 convertible Challenger with a Viper motor in it went for $65K, while the 302 #'s matching mustang went for $200K. I think that the Challenger was a lot more bang for the buck- and it was a driver to boot. Maybe check up on that car, I'm not sure on who it was built by - aired a couple of days ago.
