That's exciting! I didn't realize the track was back in operation.
Very good news!

Yup, they got a late start at the end of 2011 and from
What I have heard so far it will be a good season.
The NASA gang will be doing a few open track days
Along with what the SCCA has going.

I'm actually north of Byhalia. My mailing address is Byhalia though. I am in an area called Barton. Familiar with it?

Yup, I'm literally 5 mins from you. I'm down on
Bubba Taylor (yes that's a real st for those that don't know
And yes I have all of my teeth, lol).

Yup. I know where Bubba Taylor is. Is that the street that caved in last year or year before last during the 100 year flood we had 2 years in a row?

What are you bringing? Progress has been slow on my car. Slower than I had hoped for. I'm beginning to question if I'll be able to have my car done in time to make this

i'll be in my red 89 FORMULA as usual. for me its a big ol get together as i know a big majority of the attendees and im also the local parts source. iv had bolts, drive shafts, rears and access to new parts when needed.

as for a car not coming togeher as planned, i'v been there and have had it planned and the unforseen happen. i could write a book on my trip break downs.

What kind of turnout is expected? I have never been to the f-body event before, surprisingly. I've owned many of them over the past 15 years.

I guess I get overzealous about getting my car done. I can still make it, but its starting to look not likely though. If I can get all the body work done within a 2 week period as a month period I was originally giving myself, I can still make it. I may just throw the car together for the event without it being painted yet. Guess I'll see how close I am before the event.

Andris Skultie has been many times where he 'just" got his car running for the event and appearance wasnt even a concern. im tossing around the idea if i want to do my LS or C4 brake conversion even though i'll only be doing auto x this event.

get it running and bring yosef. as for turnout, it varies year to year. however many people that are there the vets ALWAYS makes the event memorable.

I don't post over here much but just want to say I'll be there. Look for the ugly second gen TA with the blue vinyl top. Ask for Critter.

I've attended this event a few times. Great fun, great people and you can put in some serious track time.
