It's been awhile since I have updated anyone here, so I don't want anyone thinking we fell of the map!!!
First and foremost, we hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday and we wish all of you the very best for 2012!
I was really given a second wind this year after attending SEMA with our RS-V Camaro, and over the last two months have been implementing some changes here at HPI. I am totally inspired by all the shops and creative people that I have met and followed on "THE" forum, and can only hope that we can keep on the right path to achieving some of what you guys have been able to! We are still a new, young company, just getting into the tail end of our third year, so obviously we have a ways to go, but we're getting there! My employees, my wife, and myself are all commited to taking this thing to the next level, starting with finishing up what we already have going on here!
You won't see much NEW stuff from us for a couple months, other than some updates on the projects we have stacked up here. We have gotten a lot done since SEMA, and have to get a few more things wrapped up so that we can tackle the next vehicle with a new approach; one major build at a time. We have a huge waiting list as it is, but we really want to take the quality up another notch and focus. This will also leave us some room for expanding our product line.........
We are starting our own chassis program officially this year, so look for some exciting options coming from us! There is alot out there, and in no way are we trying to compete or expecting a huge market share, but in our area we have begun to develop a reputation and we are just going to continue on that path! Due to our market area, our stuff typically is a tiny bit more budget oriented, simply due to what people are willing to spend here. So although we are doing some cool stuff and using alot of the latest tricks and technology, we are looking to create some affordable packages that are a "no-compromise where it counts" yet a little more affordable!
Sadly, our website is severly lacking, and we have started the search for an appropriate web designer as ours is failing us (they never update it at all!!!) , but we can't go nuts on the price so its taking awhile...... on that note if you know of anyone or are capable, please contact us!!!! We want to start a webstore and be able to update our page ourselves, so if you can do that for us, get in touch.
Lastly, and its a big one, we are very close to starting to put up our new shop/move locations!!!! We will know for sure after the 3rd of January, so keep your fingers crossed!!!! It will be better suited for us, with a clean assembly area and a better layed out shop. We are currently in an old Suzuki motorcycle dealership, so the space is all wrong for us.
So thank you so much to everyone involved in this forum and for all the support! You are a key reason for our growing success, and we appreciate everything, from kind words and compliments to ideas and inspiration, and all of our suppliers and customers! Thanks for a great year Lateral-G and here's to 2012 to be a leap forward for us and everyone on here!
