For that money, you could put the 6spd in and still be ok in the car! Something to think about. :woot:

OP, nice car, GLWS!

That's no excuse. A trans swap is a piece of cake compared to building one of these babies

Been thinking about doing a 65 Malibu. I like that body style. Looks like you could stuff a nice fat tire under the back....

Thanks to everyone for all the comments on the car.

WOW! that is such a nice car! Are there any pictures of the relocated coil packs? I just got the "pontiac" LS valve covers for Christmas and will be relocating my coil packs...looking for ideas. thank you and GLWS!

Perfect spot is on the firewall tucked behind the fenders. I bought these coil relocation mounts...Coil Relocation Mounts (http://www.ebay.com/itm/LS2-LS3-coil-relocation-bracket-valve-cover-side-V-6-/220810914039?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item33695b28f7). You will have to make your own wires and buy coil harness extensions. The coils are not very accessible, but I haven't touched mine since I put them there.

Very nice looking T/A, like the blue.

It was a painful 2 weeks waiting for the transport to get here, but I'm relieved that it's finally here in my garage. Thank you Jason for making this a easy transaction and for your honest description of the car. I had no surprises, exactly what I expected. Can't wait to put some miles on it.........:woot:
