Wow, the door panels are crazy. Rendering is sick too. What size are the rear tires gonna be?

Car is not tubbed so I'm not going to be able to put much back there.

Wheels will be here early next week.......20x10 rear and 18x9 up front. Hoping to get a 275/30/20 in the back but I'm probably going to have to roll the fenders to make it work.

Not a competition rig just putting a nice sound system in it.

I wish I could take credit for the work but it's being done by an audio shop. These guys do excellent work.

I use to post on corvette forum. Had a couple Z06's and a ZR1 at one point but trying out a different car now. Just finally getting this 68 done.

It's being made out of mdf and fiberglass. Hope to have it all wrapped in the nex couple days.

Interior is starting to come together and stereo is installed. Waiting on Forgelines and then it's off to have carpet and headliner installed.

Console, door panels, dash and rear deck are all done now. Seats are being done now should have them back in a week or so. Sorry for the Iphone pictures.

Going in to paint next then carpet and headliner! Hoping to be on the road by June.

Wheels came in today so I tried them out. Need to do a little more adjusting on the ride height but I'm going to roll the fenders first. I was amazed at how much lip I was able to get without tubbing the car. Now it's off to paint.....!

How big of a lip are on those? Mine is also not mini tubbed and want a fatter lip wheel. Really like all the changes you have made

Shortened the rear end 1.5 inches on each side which helped to achieve the look that I wanted. The backspace is 4.5" and the lip is 4" on a 19x9.5" wheel. Frank at Prodigy helped me with the offsets and sizes. He knows his stuff.

Well....I have to admit that I had my doubts about the interior when I first spotted this thread. It has turned out so much better than I had imagined. The car has come together nicely and I think you've done a fantastic job. It holds true to it's classic roots and the modern touches are blended very well.

Interior was done by Hyper Audio and Trendsetters is doing the seats, carpet and headliner. Couple more shots as it's being assembled and detailed.

Car was buffed completely and is not immaculate. Couldn't be happier with the outcome................May be time to start a new project.
