Very nice car, but I can't find where 180k went.

I looked at that the other day and was blown away by the price. I must have missed it, but it seems like the market for certain muscle cars has really exploded lately.

I agree, I can not see 180k here either! The car is clean. If the car pulled the kind of cash on ebay, then there is a load of guys on this site with 69's that are sitting on a gold mine!!

I cannot see an LSx 69 going for that much. I wonder if the sale really closed? Part of the charm, IMO, is the old school big block ZZ502. Now I know what I need to install if I ever sell my LS6 69 Camaro.

The deal stinks. The seller and buyer both have newbie kind of sales stats. Looks to me the seller got a shell bidder to kick it up for some other purpose.
Just my guess, since you can buy much more car for that kind of money.

I can't either. However, money goes fast for those that may not be able to do their own work. Paint can be $20,000 and up now days. I talked with a couple owners of P/T cars at Detoit Autorama 2005, They spend 125 -135 to have their cars done from the bottom up.
In my case I had a ton of parts and did all the detailing myself, but the paint still got me in the ass.

I think its a solid 65k-75k car no more.
50k would be a good deal I think.

I am sure that was what was going on. I hear of people doing this all the time.
180K? What kind of suspension is under that car? all it shows is a drop springs. The centerpoint of the car is the engine and tranny other than that not a really flashy car. The interior is pretty much stock, stock paint scheme, looks like TT2'S with black powdercoating. I shouldn't degrade the car because it is a nice car. It is just not worth that kind of money.

The only place that car is worth anywhere near $180K is Arizona. :wow:
