Hey Guy's, have a chance to buy a used lincoln precision 225 tig welder. From what I been told it's 4 years old and hasn't been hardly used the past couple of years. What do think is a fair value on this machine. thanks Joe.

Joe we have the same one I believe it was around 1750.00 new (4 yrs ago) not sure that helps but gives you an idea what they cost at that time. :D

That's the welder we have. Got it in Columbus 2 years ago. It was around 1700 new. I love it! I would go 800 or so. :thumbsup:

Thanks for the help Kurt,Chad I was thinking around $1,000 the fella at local welding store was thinking $1400-$1600 range. We'll see. I think the guy could really use the money especially this time of year. thanks Joe

That would be well worth it. My recomendation would be a deal. It's a great welder and will serve you well. Great that you are willing to help out. I hope you and Paul are doing well with the shop. How far from Windsor are you? I travel there for business. Good luck with the purchase.
