Can anyone advise what is needed to hook up a park brake for Wilwood brakes. The park brake cable is not hooked up to the rear brake at all. The following photo shows the mounting plate for the caliper. Dont know what is needed as nothing is identified on the Wilwood site. Is there a cable operated caliper in adittion to the hydraulic caliper?

Since Wilwood’s tech support keeps telling my to call back (and it’s a toll number) due to long wait, I’ll ask here…

I was just ordering a moser 12-bolt rear, and I was going to get the Wilwood rear disk setup they (Moser) offer. The Moser Sales Rep said the Wilwood rear disk with parking brake setup would not work/fit my ’69 Camaro due to leaf springs (which are Detroit Speed, but that’s moot) .?.?.? Now… I know I’ve seen plenty of ’69 with Wilwood rear disks and I assume most have parking brakes…

Anyone here running Wilwood rear disk kit with Parking brake on a 1st Gen Camaro? Can you confirm that they work fine on a 1st gen? Does the parking brake mechanism interfere with the leafs at all?

Thanks for any help…my Moser order is on hold ‘till I find out and, like a kid on xmas eve, I’m anxious to get my toy ordered and at my door!

I am running the same set up you are...wilwood discs, with e brake on detroit speed springs. No issues at all.

Just out of curiosity now, did you ask the sales rep in particular what wouldn't work on that setup?

I am running a 9" rear end on my 69 with 12", 4 piston wilwood setup on the rear with stock leafs and stock parking brake pedel and cable no problems. Had to have my father inlaw make me an adapter to fit the stock cable to the wilwood parking brake. I have the drum style parking brake. Todd
