Several months ago Scott asked me to get some photos together for a Lat-G feature. I was stoked. I started flipping through old photos, and assembling some nice shots of the car. While it isn't something immediately noticeable in person, in pictures, my car looked like it needed a little more attitude.

It was time for another slight change, and I was tired of buying lots of expensive PS2 tires. Actually, who am I kidding, the main reason I wanted a set of NewGen wheels was because they are offered in a "double dark" tinted clear that hides brake dust like no other. Now I won't have to clean things as often.

Better pictures are on the way, I promise!

Anyway, a huge shout out needs to go to the guys at Driverz, everyone associated with NewGen, and especially Jon! Jon went well above and beyond the call to help me get my car up to SEMA by offering to trailer my car up to Vegas. Not only that, but he was kind enough to let me stay over with him in Corona so we could get a good jump on the Vegas drive at 3:30am. Oh, and he helped detail the car before hand helped to place it in the show, etc. Really, I don't know what to say. Jon was beyond helpful!

Yes. Sorry, I forgot to include those. I just realized that. They are 18x9 and 19x11.5. Tires are 275/35 front and 335/30 rear. The 335/30/19 is tall enough to have a noticeable difference from the 335/30/18. I want to say that the physical dimensions (not necessarily section width) are a tad narrower. I think I noticed a little more space on the inside of the wheel housings. Additionally, the increased height of the wheel did drop my rpms down a little, which is nice because I was pulling 24-2500 at 80 on the highway.

I like the new color attitude and understand why you went 19's out back. (Tire choices)19" fat lip is a little large for my taste. I built my car with one. If I swap wheels, it will likely be to a 19/18 step lip for tires as well.

I like the way you think.

Nitto, NT05, 335/30/19. At a 27" OD, it just looks right, instead of too short. My opinion of course. :D

I would tend to agree with you. I was really torn on this decision. I wanted the step lip pretty badly but didn't want to run 19s in the front with a really short tire. Plus, I wasn't sure if the 19 would look too big on the front regardless. Not everyone can pull off the Renner-mobile look, and I was afraid that my car couldn't, so 18s it was!

I like it Matt. Great color and design choice.

I, too, prefer to stick with 18's max in the rear, but I do understand the difficulty in deciding based on avail tires.

I like them but is the front concave as well. I guessing not as dramtic as the rears but just curious? Cant really tell in the pic's

The last thing I need is another project, haha. I would be more than happy to lend you a hand getting the Falcon prepped and ready for some events though!

Yes, the fronts are concave as well, but the smaller center and smaller degree of curvature make it much harder to see. You can't really tell in pictures, and it is not immediately obvious in person at a glance.

Wheels look awesome! Really changed the look of the car and I really dig the concave. Jon is building me a set of concave NewGens for my truck right now.

Very nice car
