Was curious if there are any special methods of installing a DBW pedal. I assume they just bolt directly to the firewall. Anyone got any pictures?

Hey Chris - I have not installed mine yet (soon), but eyeballing it I'm going to make a 'pad mount' up top for it to sit on so I can match a little closer to the brake pedal depth. I hope that makes sense?

Chris, The results and installs may vary. I say that because I first used a Vette DBW pedal and mounted it direct to the firewall. I had to heat it up with a torch to get it bent in the position I wanted. The heating process resulted in a non-working throttle for me  . I switched to a Monte Carlo DBW pedal and it fit better with no bending. It also was about half the cost of the Vette pedal anyway. I don't have any pictures but the mounting flange on the Monte one required holes drilled higher.

We made a bracket that bolts the Pedal that comes with the GM harness's to a bracket that will bolt into an F-body. We make 2 different styles, one that is weld in deal, just flat plate with the bolt pattern for the pedal. The other will bolt right into the car. I have had a huge run on them lately and did not realize I did not have a picture of the bolt in bracket. They retail for 45 bucks but I sell them to Lat-g guys for 40 bucks.
