Hi all...

My car originally came with the rocker molding seen in this red gt here. I removed it from my car 3 paint jobs ago but am now debating putting it back. I went for a mostly shaven, cleaner look, but am curious if reinstalling the polished rocker screws that all up asthetically.

This is my car now. Would a black GT stripe and molding look retarded on a dumped fastback on 19/18's?

How about the GT stripe without the rocker?

Open to suggestions. Thanks

The car looks great I wouldn't sweat changing it.

Never been a fan of the stripe or GT lettering.

I am a big fan of playing up the original chrome esp on Mustangs.

But ... adding the chrome rocker molding will require drilling holes and riveting the mounting clips on. And that means painting or rustproofing the holes after they are drilled, and its not easy to move back. Not to mention that the rocker molding is of varying quality and doesn't always look 100% without buying a couple of sets and test fitting.

Thanks guys.

I like the GT stripe deal, but I get it wouldnt work with how I've changed things over the years.

Glad the cool kids set me straight.

I agree with Curtis, leave it as is.It looks great and very clean, chrome moldings or stripes look tacky IMO.
