This month in Popular Hotroding I did a design story predicting on what the new 2015 Mustang will look like. Design is based off of rumors, leaks and some confirmation from Ford or editors in the Auto industry. Overall it will be a smaller body with a more Audi A5 size. More modern design with the 3 Mustang design elements being the sideview profile, the hocky stick and the 3 tailights being retained. These are not offical images just ones I tired to come up with based on current info.
Hope you enjoy

Great work Sean! Fresh and innovative but still Mustang. I agree with what you seem to be suggesting with these proportions. I think all 3 modern muscle cars will lose some mass next time around.

Thanks Ben!
I hope the cars get more lightweight in terms of porportion as well. Ecspecially the Challenger. I like the design but a tad to big and tall. I saw lots of your work last week in Vegas to. Looks great as always

Exactly my thoughts times a million - I have been scratching my head about the Challenger since it was a concept. The Mustang is the lightest of the big three proportionally (and physically if I'm not mistaken) but Ford will once again be setting trends by moving in a smaller direction if you ask me and I think the Mustang could use it. I really like that a lot of your images take what's already there and very good and push up the aggressiveness of the design, especially the hips. Do I see even more GT/Grand Am racing dominance on the horizon? Any idea how much if any weight savings would be realistic? I think it should be one of Ford's goals for the next car ... but that might just be me.
