The order of these pics is in correct sequence of events. Here's a pic of my 1960 Ford Starliner after I built it. Over time i kept finding things I wish I had done differently. So I stripped it (litterally) and am now in the process of rebuilding it. It will take awhile to build as I am finishing up another project and can't afford to do a lot on this car. Pulled chasis from another project I sold which already had Air Ride Technologies airbags at all 4 corners. Current condition in later pics below.

Soo, what was wrong with it to go bare metal? Looks like it is super straight and rust free!

Look's like you chose the quickest way to change the color.:unibrow:

It is a California black plate car and fairly rust free. I should have done a frame off restoration to begin with. There were some issues with the air bag set up, paint issues that you can't see in the pictures, engine/transmission combo issues, and white interior is tough to keep clean!

I had added a lot of dynamat to the car. The acid dip shop said they probably removed 300 lbs of dynomat and bondo. There were a few big dents that someone once upon a time had filled with bondo.

Cant wait to see where this one goes, my father and I have one sitting in a barn waiting for the day to be built. I just love the look of the big body!

here's some pics of the chasis. I'm running a Currie Rear-end and a fatman Fab Mustang II front clip. Using a 61 Ford wagon chasis that i was building. Chasis is identical except the Starliner is a few inches longer at the back. The wheels in chasis pic are 18" in front and 20" in back but went on my other project. I will be running 19" in front and 20" in back but will probably have to modify rear of chasis to accomodate a wider wheel that I want to run.

here's some shots of the old bodywork I had done with a slight chop done to the roof and removed the vent windows. The first shot is the before one.
