Does anyone here have a Marquez package tray? Do you have pics on how you recovered it? It looks like its missing a trim piece or something to go around the speaker grilles. How did you guys handle this? Did you upholster a little over the grille or just leave it the way it is?

Your package tray is 425$ and has 90$ speakers which would make your package tray 335$. Dont you think it is priced a little high? As it is the marquez one is expensive at 180$ for a piece of fiberglass.

The Ad says it comes fully wrapped, grille and speakers. Unless I'm not understanding your question?

I posted my opinion. I think its expensive for what you get. Some people like to buy stuff 100% done and pay more where I am the type of person who likes to do the majority myself to save money. I only bought my Marquez one because I got a deal on a used one.

I never said I didnt like it. I actually like it a lot. If it was cheaper I would probably even buy one.

Sorry dude, thought you were comparing the two.

Yes -- I don't like that the edges look "unfinished" I may do something there but I am going to paint them for sure.

I have some pics of mine here.

One thing that ANYONE should consider, no matter which one you are purchasing, is if you plan on putting a DSE or similar cage in the car. If so, you will be hacking up your package tray, as I had to do. Kind of disappointing (though an oversight on my part) that I had to hack up my Marquez tray to make everything work. DSE needs to get on the ball and sell one that works with their half-cage :)

nice. I still think the grilles would look better if the holes didn't go all the way to the outside edge. In some spots where the holes are open it looks funny.

Hopefully Marquez is reading this. I might make new grilles for mine.

I had to cut some huge slots in mine to fit with the DSE cage. I'll try to remember and post some more pics later.

edit: actually, you can kind of see how you could have to hack it here (pardon the speakers that are not concentric :) )

The width of the tray behind that bar is about 1" at the very back and increases linearly towards the front. As you can see, both the tray and the grill have to be trimmed.
