Budnik did my Nomad's 18s and 20s back in '99 and I could not have been happier with their service and quality. Now they offer some great custom services to cater to your individual needs and enable to you create something a little more unique. Wish I had a car ready for another set.

I dealt with Travis as well, that's who I bought mine from at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville,KY. Or I should say I put $$ down on them, still have to pay the balance..SUPER SHOW DEAL there. Saved a ton of cash.

Alan Budnik has the coolest barn find looking 55 Chevy 2 door hardtop you will ever see. This thing is old car all over. Stinks like a old car all over. glass is delaminating. I keep bugging him to put the barn look car on a Paul Newman chassis, black anodize some of his wheels so they look like steel and drive the crap out of it. The car looks so cool the way it is I would hate to ever paint it. Lots of shiny cars at car shows but very few like that one. It would have people all over it. Arrgh !!!!

Charley -
You should convince Alan that the 55 would look better in your barn. Park it amongst the horses. Could fit in nicely. Don't even have to clean its stall...

Welcome aboard. Do you, or anybody for that matter, know what wheels are on Malitude and the Poteet/Strope/Pure Vision white Charger that was at SEMA this year? Were they both one-offs?

I'll post some pictures. It's been a long time since I've posted up on forums.

Thanks again,

Hey Guys -
Not to get off topic, but you sent me a set of your Tiller 5 wheels last week (17x13 and 17x8) and it looks like these are bare wheels with no protective coating on them. What do you recommend for keeping them looking good and protected ?
Thanks.

The wheels on Malitude are brushed GTX's. The wheels on the Pure Vision Charger are powder coated Muroc II's. Not one-off's, but of course custom builds. I hope that was the info you were looking for.

Hit 'em with some Budnik Polish a couple times a year. Use a foam applicator, and a micro fibre cloth to polish out. I've also heard amazing things about the Mother's Power Ball, although we have not used it ourselves.

Thank you,

Welcome Jon. To anyone else polishing billet wheels....The mother's power ball is well worth the money. Also, it really helps to buy the powermetal polish. It seems to work better than the mag/aluminum polish, and it's a lot easier to remove. It only took me 30 min to polish all four wheels last weekend.

FYI...I was just on the Mother's website, and they now offer a mini-power ball.

I'm in the market for new wheels and I can't find what I need anywhere. I have found the right design from you, but not the size I would like to have. Do you make special width wheels? I'm looking for 10" front wheels and 12" rear wheels. (Your website only lists them 9.5" wide).

Thanks
Jay

10" front is available in Fatlip profile, and a 12" is a custom width, and can be made.

Budnik Wheels does not do replicas. But there is a similar design called Fueler. It is an "S" series wheel and is available in the FatLip Profile in 18x8 and 18x10. If you were interested in getting the same look as the above mentioned photos, then you could powder coat the centers black, and have the cover plate and hex nut polished, with a polished lip.
