Is it reasonably posible to put a 315/35 17 on the rear of my 80 Camaro without too much well "massaging"? I've been looking around at alot of second gens with these but can't seem to get enough detailed info on wheel sizes. I'm probably going to go with the Hotchkis TVS kit for suspension. I really like the Bonspeed wheels too. Thanks for any help!

It's been done, and it's tight. You can probably get exact sizes and backspacings over here:

Never mind, see that you're there already! Do a search, I'm sure the info will show up over there.

Massaging is how you'll get that one to fit. Especially if you lower the car. The rear seat belt hum HAS to be hammered in, and rolling the fender lip is highly recommended. It's a really tight fit. I've seen guys happier with that rear tire at a stock height. Hotchkis even said behind the scenes that it rubbed. Now, if you want to try it, 17x11 wheels with 5.75" backspace is the known measurement, but you'll want to measure your car just to be sure as every car is different.

Thanks... I think I'll stay away from that one then. I don't mind a small scrub every once in a while, but I think this would be too much.
