Hi!

I'll start writing a bit about my project, it's a Camaro -69 SS/RS that I have owned since I was 18 (now 25).

There is too much to write about what I have done over the years but here are some pictures and a list of some of the things I've done / are doing this year.
Rear suspension / chassis:
3-link (home-built)
Coilovers (Koni double adjustable with Eibach springs)
Watts (home built)
Rear brakes (Wilwood four-piston calipers and discs)
Subframe connectors (Hotchkis)

Front Suspension:
Disc brakes front (C6 Z06 six-piston calipers 14" discs)
Spindle (ATS AFX)
Upper A-arm (Speed Tech)
Shock absorber (Koni)

Steering:
Box (ATS, Lee 670 12.7:1)
Pump (Lee TC with cooling)

Rims / Tires:
Front
CCW SP510 18" * 8.5"
Toyo R888 245 18"
Rear
CCW SP510 18" * 11"
Toyo R888 315 18"

Interior:
Split rear seat from a -71 Camaro
3-point seat belt for child seat (highest priority;) I got a daughter 5 months ago)

Exhaust system:
Finally welded, was made in 2009 with homemade x-pipe and Borla dampers.

sick build!

why not make mounts for the child seat so you could use the 3 clip mounting straps built into the child seats, much more secure that way than with a 3 point.

Thanks all!

I will take a look at it. I was thinking about taking a belt from a newer car since this is what I use in my daily driver for the child seat. Maybe that is what you mean by 3 clip mounting? :)

First time with the Koni's on today :D

Thanks!

I'm going to stick with my 383 that I have had a couple of years now, it's some where in the 450-500hp range :), I think it's well enough for me to handle on a road course
I use a DFX Centerforce clutch and a TKO600 trans

in most newer cars there are u-type hooks behind the seats mounted to the floor of the car. the child seats come with straps /clips, one on each side then the top tether. then all you have to do is clip them on the hook then tighten them up. your seat right now is not like that since its a rear facing infant seat but after 1 shes gonna need a bigger forward facing seat and that kind will have it set up like i mentioned.

btw- i would recommend checking out recaro child seats, there the best!

Oh now I know what you mean! That was a brilliant idea, as you say the child seat that I use now will soon me replaced by the one that you describe. The Recaro seats looks really good.

Thanks, they are a really nice piece and so are the leaf spring that I used before :)

Thank you! They are from CCW (Complete Custom Wheels), I hope they will look good on the car too :_paranoid
