So just a heads up.
Recently we shipped a full track time package to a customer in Texas. and only part of the order actually showed up at the customers.
I just wanted to let everyone know incase a Great Deal pops up on the net.
the sub frame was powdercoated Gloss Black that is a bit rare so it could be easy to spot.
The list of other parts that didn't make it to the final destination
Sub Frame Gloss Black
Ats Spindles
Stainless brake line kit
Upper and Lower Hiclearance control arms
all the shocks and springs Qa1
Ats motor mounts
and a few hardware kits

The freight company is looking for the parts
if it was your order you might want some help finding it.

call or email if you see or hear of something that soulds too good to be true please let me know.
thanks

Sorry to hear, but wouldn't all this be covered by insurance? I've heard of things like this happen with FedEx,but not freight

Probably someone at the freight company, like an inside job. Sorry to hear this. I hope the parts show up. You are so right...I would hate for anything to go wrong with any aspect of any of my cars.

Are these subframes etched with some type of vin/id #? Just a thought for future reference to check at shows and what not. Hope it shows up.

I had this happen with a freight company, shipped a 12 bolt rear end but the customer never got it. The plus for me was the customer set up his own shipping through his company (better rates) so only thing I had to do was send him the paper work from when they picked it up. Hopefuly they find this one. Good idea on putting ser# numbers on the frame going forward Blake

Contacted NPS and they could not find any listing of it. Dxgxmx if you have any other info or you know what you searched under, I would appreciate it.

I bet the person that took it decided to return it. After word got out how mighty and powerful the brotherhood is at Lat-g, too many people would notice him trying to sell it. Sounds crazy, but possible. Kind of like trying to sell a very big diamond in a small town ghetto after TV news spread the word it was stolen. Everyone would want to know where you got it. Glad the seller got it.

You know Canada is along way away and probably got lost on one of those Gigantic ships you see on TV, Those ships are big and I bet it would be easy to lose a whole subframe in on. Or maybe the Pirates in Africa had it kidnapped for a while. Give those big shipping companies a break. I think Canada is just south of Antarctica if I'm not mistaken and that is along way to deliver a subframe. It's not like Canada is right next store.

I'm sure it fell off one of the toboggans that the snowmobile was pulling as they were trying to crest the glaciers. It was covered in snow and the shipping company had to go back with dog sleds to retrace their tracks.

Or wait till the snow melted to find it.

Now I am a little concerned... i ordered a full track time package and i've only received a few parts... i am still missing the sub-frame...are all parts normally shipped together (same day)? I hope freight didn't loose my stuff. I am making a few calls in the morning. This would suck, I've been waiting a long time.

Shipping something that big takes some time. Mine came exactly as scheduled and was delivered as promised by both Roger and the shipping company.

I have a feeling that now the freight company is being "looked at", things like this will most likely happen a lot less

Has anyone else lost larger items to shipping issues like this? (and NOT recovered)
Engines, rear ends, tranny, large body panels......?

Just curious how often things like this happen in our "hobby".
