Let me help you get acquainted with some of the people so you can recognize them...
Kenny D - First thing you'll hear is "F U Who wants to fight?". Look for white tennis shoes - If these two items match - you've found him.
Rodger Lee - He's 9 and a half feet tall... wears dark rimmed glasses made with 1 X 4 .049 DOM stock, powder coated black.
Tracy Weaver - He's 5 feet tall and hails from Nebraska (enough clue right there) and has small pieces of various upholstery materials stitched to his fingers
Charley Lillard - 7 feet tall - bad foot - bad shoulder - grey hair - is famous and everyone is afraid to talk to him - so he'll be side by side with "The Stielow"
The Stielow AKA: The Godfather of PT - Medium size - dark hair - walks tall - stuck with Charley Lillard. Has an invisible driving suit on. Looks fast while standing still. People bowing to the god of all things Pro Touring is a dead giveaway that he's in the room.
Carl C - 4 and a half feet tall. Smells a bit like a gas tank... always smiling and happy to help so has a crowd around him discussing the various merits of electric fuel pumps.
Todd A. AKA: Vegas - Big chest - bigger block - smiling quietly while sipping suds... look for a shorter guy next to a Dr Renner. The 69 refers to his car, stupid. Get your mind out of the gutter.
Dr Renner - Listen for booming continuous laughter... follow that sound while looking up for the face from where it eminates.
Weld - Look for shortest - fattest - oldest guy in the room. Non-drinking aka BORING... standing alone in corner with nothing to say or add to a conversation.
Mark L - AKA: Bigtime - Listen for thumping sound of a pacemaker... and look for signs of recent IV lines...
Cris - AKA "Gonzo" - Tall dark and handsome man with a big smile. Ask loudly "who is the slowest man in the known universe on the auto X course?"... and he may step forward. Do not be alarmed he will not rob you.
Carter H - AKA: "Version number 9" - Look for an artistic man with cars and colors emanating from his fingers.

Hello everyone!
This is going to be my first time going to SEMA, but sounds like a ton of fun. I want to try and make it to the party afterwards wed night and meet some of the great people on here.
I am getting into vegas about 5 am via UPS, yes I did say UPS. I work for them and get to fly free on the jets! So can someone point me in a direction for some good breakfest when I hit town?
Any other info would be great for the first timer

Hello everyone!
This is going to be my first time going to SEMA, but sounds like a ton of fun. I want to try and make it to the party afterwards wed night and meet some of the great people on here.
I am getting into vegas about 5 am via UPS, yes I did say UPS. I work for them and get to fly free on the jets! So can someone point me in a direction for some good breakfest when I hit town?
Any other info would be great for the first timer
Not trying to be a smart ass here --- do you have credentials in order to get a badge to get in?? SEMA isn't open to the public... it's a trade show... and you have to be connected to the industry (or know somebody etc) in order to get in the buildings. The outside car displays are open to the public but you can cover that in a couple hours.... SEMA inside.... you need three days!

I read a while back that if you were to see every booth, and spent all four days to do so, you'd have like 8.5 seconds per booth. :willy:

I've had my screen name tattooed on my forehead. Will that help?
 :woot:
:lateral:  :woot:
That is funny

Just a quick reach out, Carbon Kustoms is having a little get together at my suite at Caesar's following the Lateral G party... We'll be starting up roughly around 8:30is and it's all casual....
For directions to the suite go to the Caesar's mail and key line at reception and they will give you directions to the suite.....

I had a super good time at BOTH.... Good to see everyone "again" this year -- and I think there are more of "us" here this year than I've ever seen.
SEMA is super busy... and I sure hope it's been good for the vendors!
If the crowds are any indication -- The good old US of A just might be working it's way out of this recession...

Matt --- Made a "reservation" for driving school for me and my wife with Bondurant. No date -- just "after the first of the year". So we should talk and try to make a date. I'll be taking the Grand Prix instruction (they have a "tamer" for the Tasmanian Devil - I think it's a shock collar?) and Gwen can do the new Camaro since it'll be her first time.
ALL LAT G MEMBERS -- -BONDURANT has a SEMA SHOW SPECIAL for $100 per person you can get a 20% discount on any of their multi-day driving courses...
Think you have to be here (SEMA) to take advantage of it... but that a BIG discount given the prices of this stuff!
