Here is a project I am working on for a guy here in NC. It is a 62 impala with a morrison max G frame, sport ifs front, tri 4 bar rear, ls2, 4l60, air ride shock waves, coys 18" wheels, mini tubbed, 6" ride height to rocker. It should be a fun car when finished.

Interior is going to be factory, the car will look like a stock 62 with the exception of the wheels but with all of the modern convieniences. Under the hood of course will not look factory. He is now thinking of either a twin turbo setup or maybe a procharger (I wish he had done this earlier). What are your thoughts on these options?

well, the customer was planning on useing the factory inner fenders but decided to let me make some custom ones so that is why i'm fabbing with part of the car painted, it is coming along nicely though. He is still undecided on forced induction so i am proceeding with it as is until further notice. it is on shock waves and they are at the bottom of their travel in these pics, what do ya think of it so far.

How much of the floor did you have to cut out to do the frame?

basically the entire floor, i sectioned the trunk floor so it still has the well in it, I also sectioned the gas tank and took 2" out of it.

Well it is finished and the customers are off to a cruise inn tonight in Elizabethton Tn. I hope they have a blast with this car. It is really fun to drive, the AM chassis is sweeeeet. I also had a chance to shoot some pics with this car and a pro street nova I built last year, I was thinking of taking this picture and having some business cards made, what do you think?
