Ok I finally settled on a project for myself.. I just picked up a 70 MGB GT that I will install my 302 and T5 tranny in with a disc brake ford 8.8 rear end in as well ...It should be a fun little ride... exterior wise I will install a Sebring body kit complete .. big wide rims and tires.. and low to the ground .. inside a full fabricated roll cage with racing seats and 5 point harnesses .. This will see plenty of track time..Pics on the way

Very very cool! The ultimate go cart on sterroids.
Be sure and post lots of pics!
I always wanted a Sunbeam Tiger with a built V8 and 5speed.

That is going to be an awesome project! A few years ago, I dropped a small block ford V8 with an automatic in an early model TR6. What a ride! You are going to have fun with your project. Keep us posted on the build. I would love to see the finished car.

Years ago, I used to have a 69 MGBGT. Loved the car, hated the motor. I thought of someday doing a project like this, but it was way above my mechanical ablities for the time. Please post your progress!

Removed the drivers rusted out rocker... treated the whole inside with POR 15 and then installed a new full rocker ..you can see i have to cut off some of the front of the rear quater to do this ..then i just tacked it back on as it will get cut out fro the flares..

Then I put a 17" wheel combo on the back ..not sure if it looks to big ..remembering it will get tucked under a flared fender....
