I had excellent help with Rodger at Ironworks the last time I asked for help that I thought I would ask again. Does anyone live or know of anyone who lives near Austin, TX (Round Rock) or Norwalk, WI (between Minneapolis and Milwaukee) who would be willing to take a look at a sheet metal part for me?

Thank you for your time.

Ron

SW, I recently found a passenger side '69 Firebird NOS Full Quarter. I am now searching for a Driver's side NOS Quarter. In Austin (Round Rock) I found an original quarter that has been pulled off a car. I have not called about this quarter but I have seen one photo of it. It is difficult to see what kind of condition it's in by the photo but my guess is it's probably not worth buying.

The other quarter I found (will call tomorrow to get more information) is located in Norwalk, WI (between Minneapolis and Milwaukee). This is an NOS quarter that has never been used.

I would rather have the quarter in Norwalk, WI.

Are you close to Round Rock?

I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with the quarter in Norwalk, WI. I do not like to purchase any NOS parts without seeing them.

Thanks.

Ron,
Check with Kurt (autokraft) or Tellyv. Norwalk is way up north from me to view the quarter, but these guys are within range or they may know somebody

Thanks. I will get with them to see if they can help but I don't want to push anything on anyone if you know I mean.

Kurt,
Its further than I imagined from you (looks like a 70 mile drive in the middle of no where) Good seeing you and the Mrs. again at Columbus.

Ron,
I cant think of anybody else that would be remotely close to this ghost town.

Norwalk, WI looks like its between Minneapolis and Milwaukee. Is it all flat land?

I guess 70 miles is way too far out of the way.

Wonder how close Tellyv is to Norwalk?

I have talked to the shop in Norwalk, WI who has the NOS Driver's side Quarter. He is suppose to send me photo's in a day or so but I would rather have someone see it in person if all possible. I would be happy to pay gas money for anyone who could help.

Appreciate any help.

Thanks.

That would be great if someone could stop by on their way to the Car Craft Nationals. Do you think you will be going? When is the Car Craft Nationals?

Thanks.

I grew up 2-3 hours west of Norwalk. my dad drove semi for 37 years and still hauls grain part time I'll see if he ever runs out that way or has any buddys who still do.

Never know he might throw the top down on his 4th gen and go for a joy ride.
