For sale - 4 SKF race hubs.

They are SKF part number BAR-5049 C.

They fit Corvette C5 and C6 cars except ZR1s and are complete with wheel speed sensors.

For C6, 2008 or 2009 and up use the Bosch electronics on the brakes and they will not work on those applications.

Two are new in the boxes (boxes have never been open) and two have been mounted during fabrication but have yet to have a tire attached. All are in new condition.

$325 each.

I spent 15 minutes on the SKF website and didn't learn a thing! What a messed up site. What's so special about these hubs? I have a '07 C6Z with stock hubs so what is better about these? Any pictures you can post? I also have a '70 Buick GS that I want to put ABS on. Any chance of adapting these to it? Thanks

These are the hubs:

From the first link:

The SKF C5 & C6 Corvette Racing Hub unit is designed to provide high stiffness during cornering, thereby reducing piston knock-back and the need to tap the brakes (confidence tap). It is also designed for durability and to maintain preload at sustained loading of 1.2g! All this adds up to faster lap times and better driver feedback.

If you have upgraded your 1997-2008 Corvette's performance, you will want these SKF hubs. You gain increased stiffness for better brake performance under high loads, higher preloads, less than 10 micron run-out and much increased durability. Under race and competitive use you may go an entire season without replacement. Improve your Corvette's handling, brake performance and hub durability.

Here is a YouTube animation of the difference in the SKF hubs:
