Just finished at Lakeside Rods, Crusher competed in the GG Colorado Nationals Autocross. The car needed a few minor adjustments and it will be off to the Des Moines GG Autocross.
Scar was able to compete only on Friday in Colorado and placed fourth. Scar was in the Pinkee's builder's Choice area on Saturday so it didn't get to run any more laps.

The 2nd annual Goodguys Sponsor Shootout AutoCross will be held Saturday, July 7th @ 9am at the Ohio Expo Center in conjunction with the Goodguys 15th PPG Nationals July 6-8 in Columbus, OH. All 12 Goodguys AutoCross sponsors (Afco, Autometer, BF Goodrich, Detroit Speed, Hurst Shifters, Jet Hot, Optima Batteries, Popular Hot Rodding, Ridetech, Roadster Shop, Rocket Wheels and Summit Racing Equipment) will field entries in the competition.
The competition format for the Shootout, which has been moved to Saturday this year in Columbus, is a 12 car elimination ladder featuring 2 car pairings. Based on the 12 entries qualifying, the winner will end up needing to make 4 winning laps around the course. The event is generating a lot of buzz throughout the AutoCross community. “The recognition and bragging rights associated with being the winner of the Sponsor Shootout is a major feather in the cap for these great sponsors,” said Ed Capen of Goodguys. “It’s going to be a great event with fierce competition.
Also check out the feature in the June issue of Camaro Performers.
We've worked hard on the car over the winter with many changes and look forward to a great year. Hope to see you all at the Good Guys Autocrosses. We will post pics of the car and some of the changes at a later date.
