Goodguys Builders Choice award for Heartland Nationals

Here is one of the ten Goodguys, Roger Burman of Lakeside Rods & Rides "Builder's Choice" awards, handcrafted by us (J&B Microfinish) to be awarded to the top ten cars of the Heartland Nationals in Des Moines, IA on July 3, 2011. Show promoters are predicting somewhere near 4000 cars participating at this event. The awards are made out of 6061-T6 billet 3/8" thick plate and feature an engraved plate covered by a plexiglass lens, and have been milled to resemble a 37 Ford Headlight.

The weather outlook looks good for Saturday in Des Moines. If you feel inclined,don't forget to show up early! I'm also looking forward to the autocross competition. Sounds like a good field of cars will be there. The Heartland Nationals,one of our favorite events of the year. How about yours?
