POTM thread.

Hey guys, I just wanted to ask you to go to the POTM June contest thread in the Art & collectibles section, I want to start this contest and make it permanent if possible, to have something kinda different around here, please go and make your entry to the contest, I'm waiting to see all of your pictures and hoping to have a nice competition here, thanks.

I'd also like to say that if you want to discuss anything about the contest, it can be done here, to let the original contest thread stay on topic.

I think it's a great idea and would help move some traffic over to the artwork section. I'm probably just splitting hairs but rather than use the term contest, why not just have a theme like you've suggested each month to give those already out shooting something to focus on and just show and tell for anyone who wants to get in on it. We were just thinking the themes should be as realistic as possible if you really want photographers to get in on it each month. We'd all love to come brag you guys up and it provides an excuse to go out and stretch your photographic legs a little. Cool photos are always good inspiration during tough money times too.
