anyone know of an economical wheelset similar to the BOze Injected? The wheels are very nice but i am not looking to spend $3-4K on wheels. So i am looking for a similar looking wheel for the common mans wallet. I have been searching and can't find anything comparable. Looking for 17x8 front, 17x12 rear

.......... So i am looking for a similar looking wheel for the common mans wallet. I have been searching and can't find anything comparable. Looking for 17x8 front, 17x12 rear

3 Things....
1) A commons mans wallet, which nothing is wrong with that, mostly means a set of cast wheels. (which leads to #2.)
2) That's the reason you cannot find anything, because cast wheels are no where comparable to most of the forged, billet, 3-piece wheels. (which leads to #3)
3) Many cast wheels are not going to come as a 12" wheel. Cast wheels appeal to the masses of many car makes and models. Therefore, a cars stock frame and trunk will not allow for a 12" wide wheel in most cases. Definately not newer cars which the cast wheel companies now cater to. Cast wheel companies don't cater to 30 or 40 year old cars because there aren't too many of them on the road today. Cast wheels will only go up to a 10" wide wheel.

Lastly, you are limited to wider wheels like Foose, American Racing, etc. But, those are car specific and cater to older generation cars and can get a bit more expensive than cast wheels, but are far cheaper than 3-piece wheels. Oh...and by the way, that Boze Injected wheel is insane. LOL!!!

Hey Ricer - I just read about Forgestar on another site -

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/wheels-tires/1430439-forgestar-f14-titanium-finish-preview.html

http://www.forgestar.com/v2/index.php

Lightweight (18x10 = 20 lbs), strong and set w 10" wide rears costs less than TTIIs. Sizes/price vary by style...

i found a set of billet specialties (street lite) that look very similar and come in the width i am looking for the only draw back is its only a 15" rim. Not sure i want it to look like a drag car in the rear or not, although those would work for taking it to the track.

thanks  they do. I don't know what i clicked on in thier site but it only showed 15" rims for the rear. I did a search for them in 17's and it pulled it right up. Now to find a pic with the centers PC/Painted black to see what they look like.. Thanks again:captain:

Those look very similar to the Intro Phantoms. It was a tough choice, but price won. I got the Phantoms.

Boze is a sweet wheel though:thumbsup:
